Procedure

Since certain processes and professional certifications are required to enter the German healthcare system, some healthcare professionals can generally enter the German healthcare system directly; some require a two-year professional internship.

Germany has expanded the range of talent it brings in. In addition to university graduates and shortages, Germany has expanded the scope of attracting immigrants to include people with professional skills. The German government's goal is to complete the process of certifying an applicant's professional qualifications in no more than 15 months, provided that all documents are provided. The work visa application will then be approved within six months

Preparing your résumé

The preferred format of a résumé in Germany is not the same as in the UK and the US, except that you have to put a picture of the workplace salon (in profile), more personal information, up to two pages and a signature. If you are not sure about the format, you can use the "German Medical Work and Interview Service".

Preparing the motivation letter

I think this may be the case when the first line is used to quickly shortlist candidates, but when it comes to the next interview with the supervisor, the motivation letter is actually read very carefully. The opportunity to get to know you better will not be missed.

The application process

The process can sometimes take two or three months, and if there are long holidays like Christmas or Easter, it can take even longer.

Job hunting techniques

Job hunting is a long-term process, from three or four months to a year (some of my friends even spent 18 months looking for a work visa before they found the job they wanted), so don't be too discouraged, as your German friends will also need a few months to find a job.
